The members-only shopping site ideeli — which offers clothes and accessories at a steep discount for a limited time — has added new plus size sales. “Plus Size Perfection” will be held on alternating Wednesdays starting at noon. It kicked off this week.

Petite sales will be offered on the other Wednesdays.

Plus size designers participating so far include Ravon, Tiana B, Tahari, Donna Ricco New York, Seven7, Juicy and Calvin Klein. The first sale included casual and fancy dresses, jeans, tops, coats and even lingerie. Prices were good too. This adorable khaki skirt from XCVI, which retails for $105, was offered for $29. And this pretty blue dress from Tahari was on sale for $59, though it retails for $159.

The conversation around special sizes first began with ideeli’s followers on both Facebook and Twitter, where members began expressing a strong interest in seeing plus size options on the site.

“Many designers cap their collections at size 10, yet there is clearly demand for contemporary styles in fuller-figured sizes. With special size apparel still underrepresented in retail – particularly in the popular flash sale category – we couldn’t ignore the incredible response from members and we’re excited to now offer a great selection of brands, styles and sizes on a consistent basis,” says Mary Harmon, group vice president at ideeli.

But here’s the catch: Because Inclusive will be sold only on H&M’s website, plus size ladies in the United States won’t be able to get it. According to Frockwriter, the items will be available in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Swedish Finland and the UK.

It’s a real shame, because the clothes look great. They’re much more fashion-forward than a lot of plus size lines by other retailers. We may not be able to buy it here, but Inclusive is a real step in the right direction.

What’s great about the Fashion Bug cardigan is its flattering crossover/wrap style. Couple that with the belted waist, and it will be a flattering look for most plus size ladies. It’s also long, so you should be able to pair it with skinny jeans or leggings.

The cardigan, which costs $29.99, is available in both purple and gray. I like the gray, because you can wear almost any color t-shirt underneath, but the rich purple is a nice splash of color. Of course, at under $30 apiece, you could just get both. Sizes are XS to 4X. Click here to buy.

It won’t be the first time plus size brides are featured. Many episodes of the original show, which recently wrapped up its fifth season, have profiled curvy women as they search for their dream wedding dress. Wach a clip of one of the ladies, a bride named Sasha.

It will be interesting to see how the new show works. Will the larger brides be served by the same consultants we’ve met on “Say Yes to the Dress”? (The show just wouldn’t be the same without fashion director Randy Fenoli) Will there be a special part of the store devoted to the plus size gowns?

It has a lovely crocheted back and shoulder detail. It’s a great way to show some skin without revealing too much. The top has great reviews on the retailer website, and should be long enough to cover your tummy, if you’re one of the many women self-conscious about it.

The tunic is available in several colors, including the “strong blue” shown, along with black, “crown jewel” purple and “cerise” pink. Each costs just $14, and can be shipped to your home for just 97 cents.

This pretty yellow tank top from Torrid would be a great part of your summer wardrobe. It’s got a bright, cheerful, summery butterfly pattern, and the sleeveless design ensures you’ll stay cool. I also love the slightly elasticized empire waist, which gives it a little dimension. The back is very pretty too, with a criss-cross strap design.

The floral burnout tank costs $28 and is available in sizes 0 (12) to 5 (30/32). One thing to note, however: It is decorated with small beads, so you’ll have to wash it by hand.

The dress has some very pretty details, including rouching along the empire waist and a ruffled hem. The open, square neck will show some skin without showing too much cleavage. It’s also fairly open in the back to show off your summer complexion. And the wide straps will let you wear a good supportive bra – something not possible with all sundresses.

I love the retro styling of the suit, from the sweetheart neckline to the elongated torso. And the color – a deep, rich red – will look gorgeous with your summer tan.

The suit has a fairly high back (hitting just below the underarm area) and generous coverage on the bum. It’s also lightly shirred to help disguise any imperfections.

I also love the price of the swimsuit — just $44.99. Swimwear can get very pricey, with some brands charging more than $100, so this one is a good option if you’re budget conscious.
